Switzerland
The Jung Frau region of the Swiss Alps has played a special part in my life in the last two years. In the summer of 2022 I came to Lauterbrunnen with my best friend Nick and my brother. I was blown away by the scale of the mountains, and the serene vibration of hearing the gush of multiple waterfalls. I had a moment of clarity, and new that I needed to come back here again.
Fast forward to 2023, I visited again with to of my good friends. I was keen to show them the outstanding beauty and I wanted to share with them the intense feelings of happiness and thankfulness that I feel when I am here. We went paragliding together through the Lauterbrunnen Valley. A truly singular experience.
Last but not least, I was able to lean deeper into my faith, and I became baptized in the name of Christ on June 18th, 2023 at an Evangelist Church in the alpine village of Wengen, overlooking the Lauterbrunnen Valley. My parents were able to come watch, and it will be a memory that I hold onto forever.
