Late autumn time in the park brought a cascade of burnt orange and brown leaves. The season change was a sight to behold from the valley, below the peaks of Yosemite Falls. Driving through the tall sequoia trees with the scent of fresh woodland air was a cerebral experience. Vernal Falls was one of my favorite hikes to date. One things for sure, I will be exploring this wondrous place for years to come. - 11/11/21

A full year later, I came for a longer period to spend more quality time in the park. My friends and I got to experience one of the first heavy snowfalls of the year in and around Yosemite. As many of the longer hiking routes were snowed in, we decided to hit a few more scenic places in the park. Of the days we visited the park, we had the same three ravens come fly and sit near us. It felt like a good omen, one of comraderie with my two good friends. The mountain air soothes the soul like none other. -11/17/22
